A Quick Recap from this episode

We’ve talked a lot about pricing and creating your coaching packages on the show, but for today’s episode I want to walk you through 7 essentials that I think have to go into your money coaching packages to actually help you sell them. A lot of people miss some of these, and they’re crucial to making sure that your packages are life-changing for your clients and that it’s easy for you to sell them.

These are in a particular order (for a reason!) and in the Wealthy Coach Blueprint specifically, I introduce you to my a E Cubed Formula where education meets execution meets encouragement. This is key to having a value-packed and effective program for your clients where you’re encouraging them to actually take action and giving them the support they need.

So let’s dive in to the 7 essential elements:

1. Transformation

I know this is not the most tangible thing to say, but when you actually think about providing a transformation, that is the most tangible thing you can offer. There are a lot of people who talk about becoming a coach, and they start selling weekly coaching calls in a 3 month package and don’t actually think about the specific transformation that they’re offering through those calls.

You have to clearly articulate what the transformation is that your client is going to receive. Being able to provide that and specifically articulate it is what’s going to actually make your program sellable.

2. A framework / method / process

Whatever word you want to use here, you need to have a step by step framework to work through. This is a step further than your transformation because it helps you explain that transformation in more detail and more specifically.

A lot of people have hesitancy around putting a step by step framework in place because they worry that what they’re going to cover is not sequential, but that usually isn’t the case. Our human brain needs things to be in order, so your clients are going to appreciate being able to see the tangible steps that you’re going to walk them through to get to that end goal that you’re selling them on.

3. Educational material

This isn’t required in every single coaching package, but I think it adds so much value for so many coaches and their clients. If you have a framework in place, then this takes it even one step deeper because in addition to showing them the steps you’ll walk through together, you can also let them know how they’re getting these extra things to refer to on top of that.

Having pre-recorded or already created materials to help you back up what you’re teaching is going to help your clients feel even more supported and confident in investing with you. You can actually focus your coaching sessions on problem solving and answering the questions instead of providing that education during the call. It adds so much more value and impact to your program which makes it more sellable.

4. Tools and resources

A lot of people these things - the spreadsheet or the calculator, etc. - are the most important things, but that isn’t true. They are, though, a fantastic way to provide supportive material to your clients. This could look like a dashboard with their recorded material or a calculator or any other type of bonus.

I also like to think of this as the homework. When we’re talking about the execution, we’re talking about taking all that educational material and actually implementing it. That’s what these tools and resources are for.

5. Duration of program and session frequency

This may not be as tangible for you, but it’s super important for your clients to get a grasp on how that transformation is taking place. This is full duration (12 weeks or however long your program is) and how often those sessions are taking place (which could vary depending on the client). You need to have this noted on your sales page and in your discovery/sales call because it’s just another way that you’re showing your client how this investment will fit into their lives.

6. How you will conduct accountability

This goes back to the execution piece of it all. It’s one of the main jobs of a coach to actually help your client implement the things they’re learning and hold them accountable for that implementation. What most people need to actually follow through is the accountability. In order to sell your program, you need to know HOW you’re actually going to make that accountability piece happen. Will is be part of the coaching session or separate? How will you track it and actually help them follow through?

7. How you’re going to provide additional support

This is for in between the coaching calls when your client needs additional support. You want your clients to feel like you have their back and have a way to fill in any gaps for them personally that happen between the materials and resources that you’ve provided. This is, again, a supporting character in the ability to sell your program, but you need to know ahead of time what that extra support is going to look like.

There you have it! If your program has all 7 of these essential elements, then you’re well on your way to being able to easily sell your program online while creating the impact with your clients that you want to make.
